The power of ‘healthy touch’ is needed more today than ever. Professional massage and bodywork offer support to a nervous system that requires touch education. Our ability to establish trust through touch maximizes the opportunity to facilitate change in the healing body through clear communication. Explore manual techniques rooted in interdisciplinary approaches that can be utilized locally or holistically.
Bodywork for PTSD I focuses on what we can do to help those surviving trauma through healthy touch, education, and a trauma-informed approach.
We cover trauman, discuss the diagnostics of PTSD and how it presents. Real-world examples of treatment and results help illustrate our patient-centered approcah. Time is spent refreshing A&P with specifi attention paid to the nervous system. The manua, hands-on techniques are performed entirely clothed and integrate easily into any practice. Matthew creates an authentic learning enviroment that focuses on the good to be done within the scope of practice.
