Course Description:
This is a two day immersion training for licensed massage therpists who want to experience the benefits of sharing Thai massage from the comfort of their massage table instead of the floor. All levels are welcome and it is beginner-friendly.
Thai Massage is experiencing a rapid growth in populatiry for its benefits of relieving muscle tension, clearing restricted patterns of movement, stimulating energy flow and restoring balance. Students will learn a variety of useful Thai massage acupressure, joint mobilization and stretching techniques that have been adapted for the table and receive logistical sequencing tips for Integrating them into a sesson.
Upon completion of the course LMT's will be able to demonstrate a selection of Thai massage techniques for the lower and uppper body that have been adapted for table bodyworkers. Learners will observe technique demonstrations then give and receive techniques as guided by the instructor whil refreshing their knowledge of tableside body mechanics using the Thai approach.
SUPPLY LIST:
One linen/sheet set (fitted, flat, and face rest cover), Pen, notebook. Wear loose comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in, shoes you can slip on to quickly enter and exit the training room during practice. We recommend socks and sweater in case you get cold.

Elevate Massage Training
Charlene has been a licensed massage therapist for 21+ years and has over 18 years of teaching experience in both entry-level and continuing education enviroments. She is a regisered instructor with the Thai Healing Alliance International, a Certificated Massage and Bodywork Educator with AFMTE and the founder/curriculum specialist for Elevate Massage Training. She has studied Thai massage and ashiatsu extensively with many reputable teachers in the US and Thailand and has led annual Thailand Study Tours for LMT's since 2016.
Approved in TN, AL, GA, FL, IN, MO, and all states that accept the NCBTMB credential (AP# 451520-10). MS Approved Provider, Presenter and Program MAP#92, Program #898
