Course Description:
Learn a full body Thai massage sequence for the side-lying position. Apply acupressure, range of motion and stretching using your hands, thumbs, forearms, elbows, feet and knees. Identify related cultural practices and theoretical concepts that can be used to enhance results. Participants must be able to sit, kneel and move around on the floor to complete this class. 

Side lying position is incredibly useful when working with clients of all sizes on the mat, including those who have difficulty lying on their stomach and/or back for any length of time. At the end of the course you will be able to demonstrate a 90 min. Thai massage sequence for the side lying position. With some practice outside of class you will soon be ready to offer this Thai massage treatment on your menu of services. This course is suitable for all levels, including beginners who want to experience the benefits of working in side-lying position. 

SUPPLY LIST: 
Pen, notebook, King Size or Body Size Pillow, 3 King Size or Body Size pillow cases, cloth face mask (face masks must be worn while inside the facilities). Fingernails and toenails must be smooth, short, and clean. Wear unrestrictive clothing that's easy to move around in along with shoes you can slip on to quickly to enter and exit the training room and we recommend socks and a sweater in case you get cold.
