Course Description:
MyoZen Therapy is a comprehensive proven method developed by Margie Meshew in 1996. Its clinical foundation is based on aspects of medical massage incorporating components of neuromuscular, myofascial, and trigger point therapy.
MyoZen Therapy uses specific protocol and methodical approach which allowes for more efficient access to underlying muscle fibers creating a laser focus treatment. The biomechanical techniques used in MyoZen therapy allows the therapist to target specific areas, for maximum results with minimal effort, saving the hands and body of the practitioner.
The Techniques course imparts the six primary techniques of MyoZen Therapy. Immediately applicable to your massage style, this course aims to assist you in preserving the well-being of your hands and body all while achieving exceptional therapeutic outcomes for your clients. A comprehensive manual is included.
Supplies: Sheet sets (1 top / 1 fitted sheet) 2 towels, massage lubricant of your choice, sweater/blanket, note taking material.

Margie has been a licensed massage therapist since 1989. She began her teaching career at the Florida College of Natural Health in 1993 where she taught an advanced clinical massage program for licensed massage therapists. In 1997 Margie developed her signature MyoZen Therapy which has successfully helped thousands of massage therapists save their hands and body while getting phenomenal treatment results for their clients. Currently, she continues to teach throughout the US, the Caribbean, and numerous Five Star resorts and spas while maintaining a private practice.
